While I have yet to play or run Breathless yet, I am very much looking forward to run Renegades. I have been a fan of Star Wars and sci-fi/space opera-themed TTRPGs now for over 25 years, going back to the West End Games D6 Star Wars RPG, and Renegades makes it even quicker and easier to get started rebelling and striking back by leaning on archetypes familiar to the setting/genre. I am especially looking forward to seeing how the reduction in skill rating heightens the tension, backing the player characters into positions where they have to rely on laying low in order to refocus and function at their best, increasing the chances of complications and danger as play progresses.
May I ask you - since you already have a Patreon - what are you itchfunding this game for? Will there be a more complete version?… or are there any further plans ahead?
Even though there's a progress bar at the top, Renegades is not currently Itchfunding. I've used this as a way to show how much I'd like to get from releasing the game, but I'm not looking to crowdfund anything right now.
That being said, I'm currently working on adventure modules that I plan on releasing over the next couple of months. I'm thinking about calling the first one "A Way out".
So if you bought Renegades, you will get all the adventure modules for free as I'll release them directly here ^^
