I am excited to announce that Nomadic, my solo game of exploration and survival inspired by the eponymous song by Ben Prunty and the game No Man's Sky, has been fully remastered, reworked, and is available today!

Since its initial release on June 29th, 2022, Nomadic has quickly become a favorite within the TTRPG community. Players have shared incredible stories of lone explorers trying to stay hopeful in the face of adversity, thanks to the game's tension system.

The original game was an 8-page PDF, but this remastered edition is now a single gigantic trifold (17" by 11"), which includes the cover, rules, rolling tables, and character sheet. The talented Galen Pejeau has designed the stunning illustration for the cover, the rules have been streamlined to capture the essence of "Breathless" even more. The oracles and resource mechanics now follow a consistent format, and the wording is clearer. Overall, it's an improvement in every aspect.

You can play the game solo, or you can enjoy an asynchronous co-op mode with a pen pal. Additionally, there is a 2-hour-long playlist on Spotify that complements the game, which you can find here: Spotify Playlist.

Lastly, I am thrilled to share that the game is 100% open licensed under the ORC license by Paizo and will be included in the new Breathless Creator Kit, planned for release later this year. Over 200 TTRPGs are based on the Breathless system, and I hope that with open licensing more variants of Breathless, we can continue to create amazing games of tension and release for years to come.
